At the beginning of this year, we launched ‘Friends of Eva’, our beta-testing community

This group of healthtech geeks, frustrated administrators and stressed-out clinicians are making a difference already. By offering healthcare professionals the opportunity to get involved in trying out our new tech, they are able to help accelerate our development and get our software ready for use in live clinical settings.

Now, benefiting from our place on the NHS’s Tech Innovation Framework (TIF), we’re keen to extend this collaboration and work with NHS England-sponsored ‘early adopters’ of the TIF.

What is the TIF early adopter programme?

Integrated Care Systems (ICSs), GP practices, Primary Care Networks (PCNs), federations, and other groups of Primary Care providers can now volunteer to work with suppliers who are building new tech solutions for the core-EMR functionality they use everyday. This is an NHS England-funded opportunity to try out new technology and influence the way the software is designed. For more details, visit the early adopter support page

Where Eva comes in

At Eva, we are delighted that NHS England are supporting innovation in Primary Care, and recognising that the software itself is only a piece of a broader change management puzzle when it comes to replacing an EMR.

Our commitment to innovation means that we are always listening to our customers (and basically anyone who will talk to us!) for good ideas and the latest, greatest pain points. We use this feedback to design better software, and build it faster.

One of the best ways to do this is by partnering with early adopters of the TIF, as your time could be paid for by NHS England, so we can get into more depth and understand a larger range of the complexities that you are managing in your day-to-day work.

The early adopters will also encourage a wider system participation so that we can look beyond the surgery walls to understand the data flows, patient pathways, and connected systems that all need to come together to make a switch to new software possible.

Input from early adopters will be key to shaping our Elevate EMR

How to get involved

The programme is open now, and looking to scale up over the coming months. Here are two ways you can get involved:

  1. Check out the NHS Digital website and book a slot.
  2. Join one of Eva’s early adopter demo sessions on Thursday 16th February 1pm-2pm GMT and Tuesday 28th February 6pm-7pm GMT. Email hello@evahealth.co.uk to get the dial in details for the Teams calls.

Alternatively, if you want to get started with no commitment then join Eva’s beta-testing community directly by registering here to get your hands on the software and start to test it out.
